Purchased to replace another make which died after over enthusiastic cleaning . There were two Levoit models which suited our needs but we chose this one as it had a slightly larger footprint with lower height so we thought it less likely to be knocked over and also we though this looked better than the other one with the faux wooden lid.
The illustrations appeared to show the container as clear, in reality it is slightly obscured which I prefer as it won't show every water mark. The build quality is excellent, our previous model was some years old and issues that had have been designed out making it very easy to clean, and they do need to be cleaned regularly, in our area plastic gets a pink coating which I believe is bacteria from the water nothing to do with the humidifier.
The app is excellent though once a schedule is set up to turn on and off I never touch it.
Very happy with this purchase.
