    Comfortable mouse with intuitive software
the wheel for a start can be adjusted to be a slow or fast spin, depending on your preference. Comfortable area for your thumb to rest as well as side buttons. There are also adjustable dpi buttons and if you find yourself pressing them by accident when you game, you can simply turn them off in the logitech software. It also charges fast with lovely lighting on the logitech logo. Definitely feels sturdy and responsive. Worth the money in my opinion.

The Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED is hands down the best wireless gaming mice I’ve ever used. The ergonomic design feels super comfortable, even during long gaming sessions, and the side buttons, paddle switch, and extra index finger buttons have completely changed how I play. Initially i didn't expect to use the Index Buttons, But I have now det them for media actions and I love them. I honestly can’t imagine using a mouse without them now—they’re just that good! The software is solid, though it can take a little time to set up profiles for games that aren’t officially supported. As for battery life, I get about four days of use before it needs a charge, which is great. Overall, this mouse is a must-have if you want precision, comfort, and some great Customisation

This is the business. Best mouse I ever bought

I love how you can customise all the buttons through the app. So easy to do and can set up several different modes for different uses

Performance is top notch. I use this mainly on FPS games and the quality of the mouse and the feel of it make me feel like I'm a pro! Watch out tfue!

The connectivity is lightning fast and never drops out. The grip fits great in my hand and the changeable weights really make it as light or as heavy as you need

Will this improve your k/d ratio? Probably not. But, will it improve your gaming experience? Absolutely!

Got this mouse for a discounted price of £60 with the currently running promotion of 33% off on 3 month PC Gamepass.

Right off the bat, the first thing I noticed is how big this box is. Maybe it's just me since I've never really purchased any wireless gaming before, let alone a heavily accessorised one like this.

      In the box:
      • The mouse
      • USB-A to micro USB cable (not braided unfortunately)
      • Quick start manual and safety documentation
      • Box with dongle and weights

At stock configuration, the mouse didn't feel much heavier than my trusty Redgear Emera G11. It's shaped really well with a lot of mappable buttons which are gonna take some getting used to but are still placed conveniently within the reach of the thumb and index finger.

The mouse has two zone RGB, the logo and the lights at the side. The RGB has a few effects that can be configured via the G-Hub. My first time trying to set up the RGB was a bit of a headache trying to navigate the G-Hub UI. Plugging the mouse in the first time, you'll notice that it charges pretty quickly but for some reason mine would not go beyond 68%. Looking around on Reddit showed that this is a software bug and the mouse does in fact charge to a 100%. It's 2023 and Logitech sadly hasn't fixed it. Apart from that, I have experienced no caveats with the mouse so far.

I've had a wired G502 since 2015, and it still works well, though the cable and rubber grip are showing their age. I decided to upgrade to this wireless model while it was on sale, and it is just as advertised.

The mouse wheel is very important to me, and this is a great mouse wheel. Very tactile, not had any issues clicking it down, and it has an interesting freescroll option (which I don't use very often). It has a soft-touch finish which I think is a nice touch. It does seem to have a bit of wobble left to right, but it's not noticeable when you're scrolling.

It's definitely an unconventional shape, but it fits my hand very well. Some reviews say they accidentally hit the side buttons too often - I've never had that issue, and I'm sure it's just because they haven't adjusted to the shape of it. I use a fingertip grip rather than a palm grip, so maybe that has something to do with it.

It comes with a USB extension cable, which the receiver plugs into. They advise you to place the receiver within 20cm of your mouse on your desk, so it works even if your PC is under your desk or something. You can use the USB cable to charge the mouse as well - it has a decent battery life, I can't imagine it running out mid-session unless you don't charge it for a while. You can use it while it's charging too, so that's not really an issue. There is no noticable latency.

The software is pretty bad (as usual with gaming hardware). It's not explained very well. There's no way to have a generic 'gaming' profile either, which seems like an incredibly basic feature. It does let you set up basic macros though, and lets you completely override and change the behaviour of all buttons, which is pretty useful.

UPDATE: 6 months on, no complaints. I've never had the battery run out. For me it lasts about a week with probably about 10 hours of usage a day, and it charges within hours while using it.

I've used Logitech mice for decades. They feel great in the hand, they work smoothly, and the software is useful. But they always fail the same way - the left-click (the most often used button) becomes sticky, registering a double-click when you single-click. For me it's been a question of when will this happen, NOT will this happen?

I loved the G502. Probably the perfect mouse for me in terms of shape and size, and adjustable weight too. This time I got just over 3 years out of it before it became unusable. Some may feel that this is an acceptable length of service, some may not. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Right now I'm debating whether to buy another G502 or switch to another brand of mouse. The current price is £92, which is not cheap!

5.0 out of 5 stars De ultieme gaming muis voor serieuze gamers!
Reviewed in the Netherlands on 23 October 2024
      Colour Name: BlackVerified Purchase

5.0 out of 5 stars Wireless upgrade to the legend. Only Downsides: 1. No Type C, and 2. bit pricey. But still worth it!
Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates on 2 January 2021
      Colour Name: BlackVerified Purchase
I've had, over the years, the Razer Krait, Abyssus, Spectre. Even had the Logi G700s, but that's quite huge for my medium/small hand form factor. My hand-size: 7 inches from tip of the middle finger to the wrist.

My original $70 Original G502 Proteus Core, 4+ years. Still going strong as ever. No clicking issues - maybe some very faintly occasional double click on the left one, but nothing that brings it down. If I were given the choice of one wired mouse - I would not look beyond a G502 variant.

Now this: The much awaited Wireless upgrade to the legend. Everything in size and function is about the same.
The clicks this time feel just a tad bit better, snappier. The scroll wheel is nice upgrade, with a lighter alloy rim like make. The wireless feature completely translates the same no-compromise experience in every way. I don't think this mouse is going away any time soon.

The only two downsides are that the cable connector at the mouse end is still micro-USB. Would have loved a Type-C port in this day and age but that would be a little nit-picky still as no Type-C is fine for a mouse but not at all for a phone so.

Why did I buy this? Even with a cable, a 502 is no problem - at all. It's just that my G502 Proteus is just showing some signs of wear under the thumb placement area - much of the rubber seems to have eroded, and so I was wanting to have a backup G502. That's probably why I would maybe recommend a vinyl skin to be put on this area so that the rubber doesn't wear off.

So while I was planning to get a G502 Hero as a standby (dont care about higher DPIs or anything else), I just figured maybe getting a 'wireless' version may just be more future proof.

No mouse would give me the feature-set and the form factor, as well the Windows Application stability and flexibility as a Logitech, of which I am certain (I do have a Razer Blackwidow and used many of their mice, but the software would have strange issues, and even the Corsair iCUE doesn't seem quite as stable as Logitech's software). Thus my options, say, were a bit limited. But regardless, I don't see any other mouse packing as much punch in features and still be RGB enough, and so the G502 Lightspeed, no other mouse quite stood the chance of my consideration.

The G502 is a legendary series of mice. They've been tried and tested - by so many others as well as myself. It's hard to shake that off. For me, it works like a glove. And I wasn't ready to take any other shot in the dark, really.

Sure, it did cost a finger if not an arm, and it took me DAYS to come to a decision. But now that I have it, I know that the extra money it cost me makes it worth it. Maybe at AED300 it would be the deal of the decade for a wireless mouse, but I think this is the lowest I've seen this killer mouse priced at, and well, there it is.

My search for the best wireless mouse in the world (in my mind), ends here. No wonder this IS the best gaming mouse of 2020.
